What should I expect on my first remote fertility consulting appointment?
,The appointment will be conducted via Zoom or telephone. It will be approximately 90 min – up to 2 hours. You will have previously uploaded all of your new patient paperwork to the patient portal including all lab work, imaging results, and any additional paperwork or information you have supporting your fertility history. We will go over in much detail your health history, fertility history, all of your lab work, your menstrual history, current symptoms you’re experiencing, your mental and emotional state, what supplements and pharmaceuticals you are currently taking, your diet and exercise regimen, where you are currently on this fertility journey, imaging work or procedures you’ve had done and any and all questions you may have. I will put together a very personalized protocol for you to follow which may include specific herbs, supplements, cleanses, functional nutrition plans, any suggested lab work, and procedures you may need to get done, which is all very specific to the phase’s within your cycle. Dr. Reagan has a pharmacy tab on her home page, after your initial consult, she will have set aside everything she has suggested for you in a cart. you should expect an email from her within 48 hours which will include your personal protocol and all of the supporting material she has put together for you in one package.
what does a Follow-up consist of?
Follow-ups generally take 45 min. We will check in on your progress and go over any lab work or procedures you may have had done. A follow-up is good to do about 1 month after our initial consult.
How do I prepare for my initial consultation?
A. Please complete the health history forms and the fertility history forms and all of the new patient paperwork that will be emailed to you. The history forms are very detailed, so take your time to fill them out. Please email me back with all of your forms filled out.
B. Please upload all of your current lab work, or any testing you’ve had done including all blood/hormone panels, current IVF schedule, and protocols if applicable, your last 6 months of BBT charting, last 6 months of menstrual charting, results to any imaging you’ve had done like transvaginal ultrasounds, hysterosalpingography, saline sonograms, sperm analysis, etc.. The more information you can provide the better.
What if I don't live near Dr. Reagan?
That’s okay! Dr. Reagan works remotely through zoom or on a phone call. Your appointment will take place no matter where you or her are. All of your new patient paperwork will be uploaded to the patient portal so she will have all of your information before the appointment begins.
What if I want an Acupuncture treatment?
If you live in or near the Sacramento California area then you can schedule an initial consultation and treatment through the CONTACT page or the WORK WITH ME page. These will have a link to schedule an appointment.
What Should I expect on my first Acupuncture consultation and treatment?
The appointment will be conducted in Dr. Reagan’s clinic. It will be approximately 90 min – up to 2 hours. The treatment itself will be 30 min. You will lay relaxed on the treatment table with soft music and dimmed lights. It is a very relaxing treatment. I will put together a very personalized protocol for you to follow which may include specific herbs, supplements, cleanses, functional nutrition plans, any suggested lab work and procedures you may need to get done, which is all very specific to the phase’s within your cycle. Does Dr. Reagan offer pre and post transfer acupuncture treatments?
Yes, there is a special package of treatments For IVF transfers. Please refer to the WORK WITH ME page and go to ACUPUNCTURE to get pricing and scheduling information.
What Does her program have to offer?
Dr. Reagan has developed the Optimum Fertility Masterplan program which covers a wide variety of fertility issues like endometriosis, PCOS, implantation issues, repeated pregnancy loss, poor egg quality, male factor/poor sperm quality, epigenetics, hormonal imbalances, fibroids, unexplained infertility, autoimmune infertility, etc… She has over 15 modules in her program including personal video tutorials from her, all of her protocols, treatment plans, e-books, digital print out’s, lab testing, supplements, herbs, functional fertility nutrition plans and recipes, exercise plans, guided fertility meditation, one on one coaching calls with Dr. Reagan, entry into a private FB group with other women in her program and accountability throughout the 12 weeks.
What if I have to buy more supplements?
Visit the homepage and you will see the Pharmacy tab. After your initial consult, Dr. Reagan will have a cart set aside for you filled with her recommendations for you to begin with. On the protocol that she provides you, it will state what she wants you to take for the next 12 weeks. Note… ( the products may change for each phase of your cycle)
How do I see if this will be a good fit for me?

How long will it take to see results & regulate my cycle?
Everybody’s body response is different. It is very dependent on your health assessment at the time and where you are on this fertility process but if you follow Dr. Reagan’s protocol she gives you after your initial consultation with her and you are very compliant with it then the process will be expedited exponentially.
Does Heather work with IVF Patients?
Yes! She works with IVF patients all the time. She often co-manages patients with their reproductive endocrinologists. Dr. Reagan is very well educated with a wide variety of IVF protocols out there today. She has an IVF success module in her Optimum Fertility Masterplan. She recommends going through her Optimum Fertility Masterplan 12 weeks before going through a round of IVF for a higher chance of success. If you are in the Sacramento California area then she recommends coming into her clinic for IVF pre and post-transfer acupuncture treatments.
Am I allowed to work with other practitioners at the same time I'm working with Dr. reagan?
Yes, of course! She co-manages her patients with other doctors and practitioners. RE’s. OBGYN’s, Endocrinoigist’s. She always recommends seeing a local Acupuncture physician and Mayan abdominal practitioner, in your town in conjunction with her protocols and program.
